Cranberries Pesto Sauce Recipe

This sauce goes well with so many dishes! 


  • basils, 1-1/4 cup
  • walnut, 1/4 cup
  • red pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
  • fresh cranberries, 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup
  • Italian parsley 1 cup
  • olive oil 1/4 cup
  • garlic
  • salt


  1. Baked cranberries in about 350F on foil till they pop.  (the purpose of baking on foil was for your easy cleanup)
  2. Put each ingredient in food processor to get them chopped.  (if you have no food processor, chop by hand, try to chop them finely)
  3. Mix them all together.

The key to this sauce success is taste your mixture as you mix them to adjust each ingredients portion to your own liking.  Basil, parsley, garlic and walnuts are pretty crucial in this recipe.  You can definitely skip cranberries or red pepper if you don’t like them or don’t want to go shop for them.

This sauce goes well with so many dishes! Make this sauce once and store it in maison jar, and you can easily create so many dishes after. You can steam your white fish, chicken breast or veggies such as long bean. Just slightly pan fry each of them with this sauce and they taste amazing with minimum effort!
